Finally a project that I completed!

So after extensive pinterest research about "How to bounce your camera flash" I found a tutorial that I loved and put my own recycled spin to it.

Here is my masterpiece:

I used a Jiffy brownie box and cut it with an x-acto knife at a slant.

Then, I lined the inside with foil and taped it down.
Here are some examples of shots taken inside my house with no extra light:

With straight pop-up flash

With my "Jiffy" flash bounce
Both of these pictures are taken on the same setting, one after the other.  As you can see the pop-up flash tends to wash out the colors in the picture but by bouncing the flash on the ceiling the lighting warms up and is evenly distributed, giving the true color of the items in the photo.

Here are other before/after shots:

Notice the color difference: Before (Left) with pop-up flash and After (Right) with "Jiffy"

And for some delicious photos using my "Jiffy" flash cover...I call this dish: Knowledge is Pasta :)

Pork Ragu with Alphabet pasta and Shredded Parmesan

I'm glad I finished this project and that it actually worked!!!
