Europe or Bust!: Journey to Roma, Italia

This post is going to be short and sweet because by the time we could see any places worth taking pictures of on the train it was already dark out and the train was going a little too fast.  Here are pictures of our train, the BnB we are staying at, and our dinner the first night.

Our destination was Roma Termini

We stopped in a lot of places that I will visit the next time I'm in Italy...Bologna and Firenze (Florence)

Here are some pictures of our BnB, here in Roma, It is another AirBnB place and it is really nice with great hosts.  It is very close to Roma Termini and a Metro stop that can get you to a lot of must-see places like the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, and the Vatican.

We have our own private bathroom in the room and a nice size bed, tv, and small table with chairs.  It is perfect for two and the hosts provide a continental breakfast of cereal and pastries every morning.  This place was only $41/night!!!

We got to our BnB at around 8pm and after a small orientation about the apartment they recommended a place for dinner called, Trattoria da Michele.  It is about a 15 min. walk from the BnB and easy to find.

We tried the House vino which was really good.

Wela tried the Lasagna and I had the Ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta and sauteed in butter and sage.

We also had their house made Tiramisu, which was probably the best one I've had with a perfectly soaked ladyfinger at the bottom.  My only regret is that I didn't have more Tiramisu.
