Venice Food Edition

We were only in Venice for one night but we managed to eat some very tasty things.  We happened upon Osteria Doge Morosini in a small Piazza.

We had Insalata Caprese with the most delicious pieces of buffala mozzarella

We shared Bucatini all'amatriciana: long pasta with pork jowl, tomatoes, and pecorino cheese

And Vermicelli alla carbonara which was really tasty...Wela said he likes my version better because this sauce was really thick...It was good nonetheless!

For lunch before we left Venice we jumped into this little Bar across from our BnB: Bar Ducale for a quick bite

We shared a Pizza prosciutto e fungi (ham and mushrooms)...Eating this next to the canal was the best part.

We were still a little hungry on our way to the waterbus back to the train station that we stopped here along the Piazza San Marco to pick up another slice of pizza this time with peppers, olives and cheese
