Paris Food Edition

On our first night in Paris we got a recommendation to eat at Caffe Cambronne near our flat.  It was a traditional French cafe with delicious dishes.

Wela ordered the Pork knuckle and sauerkraut...It was delicious!

I ordered the Boeuf Bourginon...It was also delicious!

Crepes and Nutella...Yum!

Cafe Creme!

George V cafe along Champs Elysee

We ducked in here to get out of the cold and to have a little snack

Wela got a really thick Hot Chocolate and Crepe Confiture (Jam)

I got a Crepe w/ nutella and a cafe creme

On our second day in Paris we ate dinner at Royal Cambronne close to our BnB...They were very friendly and helpful

We both got a meal deal with an Entree and Plat...Entree in France is a starter and Plat is the main course.

I started with this delicious thinly sliced pork knuckle terrine salad with vinaigrette...The pork was very tender and matched perfectly with the vinaigrette and vegetables

Wela started with a warm goat cheese salad....Which was terrific!  Huge warm toasted slabs of chevre on bread over a salad

Wela finished with a Escalope of Salmon and rice...The sauce was buttery goodness and the salmon perfect...It was hard for me trying to eat both of our food

I had frites and a steak burger with an egg...It was so good!

For dessert, I had a Cafe creme and Wela an espresso!

Le Quasimodo Brasserie located across the street from Notre Dame Cathedral sells take-away items out front if you are on the move.

We had a Croque Monsieur: Toasted sandwich of brie and jambon and a Hot mulled wine

-------------------------

In the Latin quarter we stopped to get a Nutella and Banana Crepe

It was a huge crepe and it was full of nutella and bananas

Le Suffren near the Eiffel tower was our last meal in Paris.  This is the restaurant that doomed Wela's stomach and affected our last day in Paris.

We started off with Large Burgundy region Escargot!  It was delicious cooked in garlic and butter

Wela had the steak tartare which they mix near your table and was pretty delightful in small portions I guess...since Wela's stomach didn't agree to it

I had Steak Frites which I love mostly due to the Bearnaise sauce that accompanies it...

After dinner we each had a cozy cup of espresso before venturing out for our adventure at the Eiffel tower
